IntelePeer Honored as Gold Stevie® Award Winner in 2017 American Business Awards℠

Cloud communications provider recognized for superior customer service

San Mateo, CA – May 3, 2017 – IntelePeer, a leading provider of business communications including cloud-based communications, cloud contact center, enterprise voice services, and SIP trunking, was named the winner of a Gold Stevie®Award in the Customer Service Department of the Year category in The 15th Annual American Business Awards today. The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20. Tickets are now on sale. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, and IntelePeer was nominated in the Customer Service Department of the Year category.

The IntelePeer Customer Service Department was chosen for this award due to the highly personalized and expert support it provides to its customers. When IntelePeer customers call the 24/7 support line, they are immediately connected to an engineer who is trained to solve the problem, whereas most other providers take the information down and require a callback. Each customer is assigned to an account manager who has extensive telecommunications experience to assist with day-to-day questions and operations. The company consistently receives high customer satisfaction scores due to the team’s willingness to support customers, no matter what, even if the issue is not related to IntelePeer’s network.
